The Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), one of Malaysia’s most respected conservation NGOs, has launched a comprehensive suite of CSR and ESG programs designed to engage corporations in hands-on environmental stewardship. The initiative includes tree planting, mangrove rehabilitation, wildlife habitat monitoring, and school-based environmental outreach, all tailored for corporate collaboration. Companies can participate directly through field-based volunteering activities allied with these programs. More details are available at https://mns.my/csr-esg/.

According to the official 2025 CSR activities list published by MNS, participating organisations can take part in structured half-day or full-day volunteer sessions across various ecosystems. These include mangrove nursery planting in Kuala Selangor and Sepang, seed harvesting and beach clean-ups at Pantai Bagan Lalang, forest restoration at Sungkai and Cameron Highlands, and wildlife conservation support involving tapirs, sun bears, and fireflies. The full list of available CSR activities and volunteering opportunities can be accessed at https://mns.my/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/2025-CSR-List-WEBSITE.pdf.

These initiatives are designed to promote biodiversity protection while fostering meaningful corporate participation. MNS provides logistics, volunteer coordination, and post-activity reporting, making it easier for businesses to align with national sustainability goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The programs offer real-world impact while building employee engagement around environmental causes.
